ABOUT

Between two dogs, a toddler, a Knicks obsession, and a sneaker and baseball cap habit that’s getting out of hand, I take time to design things people want to use.

I've always been drawn to work with reach. Early in my career, I worked with over 25 local businesses in my county, designing everything from logos, direct mailers, and store signage. There was something special about seeing my designs on a billboard or storefront in a place I called home. It felt like I was giving back, but my reach was limited by geography.

Everywhere I go Im noticing the UX of the world around me. How things feel, how theyre used, then I complain when it doesnt work the way it should.

That pushed me into leading my own clients and in-house teams across consumer product, construction, foodservice, and logistics. Every industry taught me something different.

Eventually I started thinking about reach. Those early billboard days weren't about the billboards, it was knowing millions of people would see them. UX clicked for the same reason. A single redesign can make millions of people's days easier.

Like finding gym clothes at Target. You check inventory, nothing gets in your way, your next step is always clear.

Thats the experience I want to build: where technology just works, and peoples days are a little less annoying.

Behind the designs

When I’m not designing, I'm usually watching basketball yelling 'KNICKS in 6!!!!!', snapping photos, or looking for the next pair of sneakers or Yankees hat to add to my collection. I have two dogs and a toddler who keep life interesting, and I could eat jerk chicken all day. Literally all day.

I love designing for myself and I'm always working on some side projects. There’s one that I'm working on right now that I can't wait to share, but it's top secret until then. Everywhere I go I’m noticing the UX of the world around me. How things feel, how they're used, then I complain when it doesn’t work the way it should.

Design isnt just my job, its how I experience the world.
